A simple haircut turned into a deep lesson on spiritual alignment and intentional living. In this issue, I share why going where you see results—whether for a trim or for church—matters more than convenience. If you’ve been feeling stuck spiritually, this one’s for you. 📖 Reflect. 🌱 Align. 🙌 Go where the oil flows.

Hey family,

Let me walk you into something that made me reflect deeply and I think it will do the same for you.

So, I was at the barbershop recently. Not just any barbershop. One that’s a good distance from where I live. As I sat in the chair, Holy Spirit asked me a question I wasn’t expecting:

“Why did you come all this way when there are barbers right next to your house?”

I smiled because I already knew the answer.
I said, “Because I know this one gets the job done.”
Then Holy Spirit whispered,
“Exactly. You go where you see results.”

That moment became a mirror reflecting how we make decisions in every area of life, including our spiritual walk.

Let’s get honest for a second…

I’ve always wondered why some people would drive long distances 30 minutes, an hour, or even more just to attend church. Especially when there are churches right on their street.

It used to baffle me.
But now I understand.

We don’t make sacrifices for convenience, we make them for impact.

Nobody wakes up excited to waste time and fuel.
But when you’ve tasted spiritual growth, when you’ve seen lives transformed, and when you’ve experienced God’s hand moving in a place you don’t mind the distance.

Because you’ve seen results.

 It’s like this…

Ladies, you don’t just sit in anyone’s chair to braid your hair. Even if it’s across town, you’ll go to the stylist who understands your scalp, treats your hair right, and gets the job done.

Guys, you don’t let just anyone hold clippers to your head. Because one wrong cut and your confidence is gone for a week.
You go to the one who delivers consistently.

So why treat your spiritual life with less intention?

Let’s reflect…

Are you going to church because it's close, convenient, or because you’ve seen fruit there?

Are you spiritually PLANTED or just socially COMFORTABLE?

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” — Matthew 7:20
Not by how close the church is, not by the size of the crowd but by the results in your life.

And if you’re already planted in Father’s Throne Ministry and not seeing results, maybe it’s not the church it might be your alignment. Because when you're aligned, results come naturally.

But if you're not, frustration will build, especially when you see others around you testifying and thriving.

“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” — Psalm 92:13

It’s not about being in the house... it’s about being planted.

Your next move?

Check your heart.
Ask:

  • Why am I where I am spiritually?

  • Is this convenience or conviction?

  • Am I aligned or just present?

And if you’ve found where God moves in your life, stay there. Even if it takes effort. Even if it’s far. Go where the oil flows.
